Yashavi Prakash

Yashavi Prakash (she/her) is from Ashburn, Virginia, and is currently a first-year at the University of Virginia. She enjoys writing about politics and human rights issues from the perspective of the law (and the history surrounding it). When she isn't doing schoolwork or writing for the Voices of Gen-Z, she loves to hang out with her family and friends, play her guitar, collect records, and spend time outside. Although she doesn't have any set path in mind, she hopes to one-day advocate for human rights issues in our country in her career, whatever that may look like.
