Krista Orejudos

Krista Orejudos (she/her) is currently a high school from Kent, Washington. She is planning to pursue journalism and broadcast media when she is accepted to a university. She is someone who is determined to tell stories about underrepresented and misrepresented communities as she has accumulated a rich rich knowledge about diversity and cultural inclusion. During this past year, she has recognized her privilege as an Asian-American and has begun to use her writing as a way to spread awareness about ongoing discrimination in local areas on her platforms. Besides writing, she also has a podcast available on all streaming platforms called "What's on Krista's Mind" filled with Ted Talk conversations and belly-ache laughter about the vulnerable life experiences and human emotions. Like her writing, she strives to establish meaningful connections with her listeners as well as provide content that is comforting and worth-listening to.
