Arianna de la Cruz

Arianna de la Cruz (she/her) is a rising sophomore from the Dominican Republic. She is passionate about global politics, climate change, women's rights and promoting anti-racism in the Dominican Republic. She wants to study philosophy, politics and economics (EPP) and is looking forward to building a wider social media platform to share her activism when she goes to college. Apart from VofZ, she is interested in debate and the arts. As a young writer, she aims to encourage other Gen-Zers to not be fearful of sharing their opinions and to let those who try to condemn their words inspire them to speak their minds. She believes that Gen-Zers shouldn't be afraid of being portrayed as "rebellious” in the eyes of society, but rather of being silenced.
